I'm a Good Mom...Promise.

So I was having such a good time playing with play-doh and talking with my two Brazilian friends Letícia and Aline, I lost track of time.

It dawned on me I hadn't seen or heard from Justice in quite a while. I went looking for him and this is where I found him.....

Bless his heart.....

He fell asleep in a plastic tote of books.

What about you?? Where have you found your kids asleep before?

I found this old picture of Trinity, asleep in her walker.

(Now that I'm beginning to doubt my parenting skills...some, anyone...please tell me you've done the same...)

My son often fell asleep in the jonny-jump-up hanging from the doorway. He'd be bouncing in his sleep. My daughter once fell asleep in a shopping cart in Wal-Mart. I just piled groceries on top of her.

Does that just break your heart??? My youngest child is now 21 years old, and I cannot tell you the guilt that I have suffered!!! And now it's starting all over again with my grandchildren. :-P

I found my little boy sprawled outside on the ground in our compound under the guava tree when we were in Uganda. Poor baby looked like he dropped as he fell asleep.

It is so cool to see how easy kids fall asleep and in the weird places they do.... I think they can fall sleep walking if you let them! :) My mother in law has a picture of one of her kids when they were little asleep on top of their food place... it was funny

Somehow though when we grow up we have problems sleeping even in beds.... I am uncapable of sleeping in the airplane, no matter how many hours I am going to be there.....

This is hilarious, Nina! Poor Justice all while you were playing with his playdough. hahaha!

Michael use to put himself to bed if I didn´t get dinner on soon enough and he would go to bed without food. I would feel so badly.

Kids are just so flexible and Praise the Lord for that!

Love the pictures!

God love him! Oh Nina it makes me want to scoop him up and love on him! I cant remember the places you and Z.C. fell alseep. I guess one of the places would be at the dinner table when you wouldnt eat your dinner and had to stay untill you finished.
Did you wake him after you took the picture?

I love you, Mom

I always feel bad when the baby falls asleep in her car seat on our afternoon "sports events shuttle". With her big brothers hectic schedules, she has to be such a trooper!

haha! Oh, ours would sleep anywhere and everywhere too! It's hard to see how the spot, that Justice picked to fall asleep in, was comfortable!
and I love that your mom asked "Did you wake him after you took the picture?"

and...just curious...did the play-doh playing and creating start out as a kids' activity and then they left the moms to finish? Or is this a typical pastime interest :o) (I loved playdoh time when our kids were little)

Blessings & Aloha!
(Thank you so much for coming by :o)

Ola, Nina! Fiquei totalmente choqueada quando vi a foto da Léticia. Conheço ela do Brasil! Que coisa! Fala "oi" para ela de mim. Vou ter que escrever para ela um desses dias...... We had friends from Portugal here this week (from Esmoriz I think is their town) and they confirmed that this Léticia is indeed "our" Léticia from Brazil. How crazy is it that I would see her on your blog and I don't even know you!
Have a blessed week! Eileen:)

Action fell over asleep in a pile of Legos once. Thank goodness one of them didn't poke his eye out.
