I have never been one to stick to a diet...especially if I am trying to stay away from my favorite 2 drinks (sweet tea & mountain dew) I look just like that picture when I do!
That picture of the spastic woman always cracks me up. I imagine it's what my children see each morning - poor kids.
I'd add a little something to Hat Chick's advice - everytime you feel like sugar, think of all the sit-ups, jumping jacks, and leg lifts you'll have to do. Just the thought of exercise has the power to persuade.
Oh my! I didn't realize sugar had such an effect on the body. I have been thinking of giving iy up as well, but I know my hubby would not be on board and I'm not sure I could do it by meself. Hang in there though. You can do it!
Oh Girl, I am with you. Coming over from Fringegirl today, I saw this post. I made the same promise to myself only two weeks ago. It DOES get easier, but only a teeny bit. ;)
I spent 2 mos in the Azores for a college short-term mission trip, and I had friends in Lisbon. So I feel a connection too. I'll be back. ;)

I'm sorry hang in there,we can do this together..
Any time you feel the need for sugar, eat a chocolate kiss then immediately do 10 jumping jacks and 20 sittups. It works for me.

Have a happy, sugar-free day.
