History in the Making?

About 10 minutes before our rush out the door for school, Lib ran into our room screaming, "It's snowing!" Michael quickly said...."It's not snowing...it's probably just....."

About that time I flung open the curtains and sure enough....

We've been told that it may snow in our area once every 15 years or so??

They had about 10 minutes to play then off to school where they were disappointed to see school as usual. They were hoping for a snow day!

Instead of "cheese" they all said "snow"...mouths wide open!

My poor oranges

Update: I've since learned that it hasn't snowed here in about 30 years! I guess we ARE seeing history!

Oh, I feel badly about your oranges! The kids must've been SO excited. Is that an outdoor fireplace/grill? It's fabulous.

Oh now that's fun!
We are having the driest winter in who knows how long. We have had snow only once and it fell for about 1 hour and nothing stuck, we were so disappointed.

Anyhoo, the kids look like they're loving it!

You should see how much snow we got here in Braga. When Sarah saw the snow falling on the cars she said (and now I am going to write in Portuguese I she said): "O carro está tomando banho!" (she said that the car was having a shower! so cute!) I loved your pictures and saw you posted vídeos too.. You have to teach me how do post videos, because I have no idea how it works!

Wow! and you get it before we do???! How fair is that?! You gonna make a snowman? Hehe, you could put it in the freezer to save for the kids!

How fun! The kids and the dog look like they're having a great time in the snow.

By the way, I love the photo of your kids in your title or header (whatever it's called). That is such a neat picture of them. It catches my eye everytime I check out your blog.

Your dog looks confused, but the kids look elated! I agree with Fringegirl - sorry about the oranges.

Dawne told me to look at the snow pictures on your blog. (I am her sister)

The vido of the snow through the window was incredible! It real did snow! And you poor folks with no central heating or insulation!

I guess the sweaters Dawne made will only be one layer you will be using!
