Nanny's Heart

Janice, my mother-in-law is one of my favorite people in all the world. I'm not one of those with horrible MIL stories, cause mine has been a blessing from the very beginning.

Janice, AKA Nanny, is a mother of 6, grandmother to 18, a registered nurse of 40 years and wife. She's the best cook I know and the best person to call when the kids are sick at 2:00 AM.

Michael tells me stories of his childhood days...when money was tight and they had their normal wienie roast in the fireplace every Monday night. How Nanny ALWAYS cooked breakfast before school and he remembers sitting on top of the heater vent, eating oatmeal and wondering why his mother rolled her hair while standing on the outer edges of her feet. (Cold floor we surmise)

He tells me of the annoying sound Nanny made when trying to 'scare the hiccups' out of them as kids, how she would rub away belly aches and about their family vacations in the motor home with 6 kids.

Nanny has started a blog and she writes beautifully! Especially when she's writing about precious subjects, like grandchildren.

So pop on over and encourage a new blogger. Thanks!

She sounds so wonderful! Praise the Lord for your MIL! And it´s so awesome that she has started blogging. She has already popped over to my blog. :)
I followed you over to hers not too long ago, as well!
God knows exactly what we need when we need it!
