One Step Closer

One of the many things a missionary needs to do in preparation for furlough is get an updated picture made for a new prayer card.

We can cross that off our list.

Only 1,698 other things to do.

Furlough will be here before we know it.

That's a great picture! When we were missionaries, every time we got a new picture made for a prayer card, I found out I was pregnant right after the card was made. I finally told my husband we could draw in additional stick figures if we needed to, but no more pictures. : )

Hi Nina!
The Fruitful Branches at Community Baptist are looking forward to seeing you guys. They are having a blast with the "Bring 'Em Here" campaign that Pastor Kirk has the kids doing :)

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

Jill - Oh my! I can see why you protested! Stick figures are a great way to go! ;)

Ms. June - Thank you sweetie! I will surely let you know if you can do anything for us.

Ms. Anita - We too are looking forward to spending some time there with you at Community! We are thrilled that the church had such a successful "Keep 'em there" campaign. And now....to continue on with the "bring 'em here" campaign....makes me want to cry out of thanksgiving. Not because we will receive the funds, but because our home church is so very thoughtful and precious!! Praise His Name!!

Ok...I am supposed to be spending some "quality" time with my hubby watching the Superbowl. (we are big Packer fans, and our son in law and his family have brought our daughter to the Steelers cheering section, since they have been married.)

BUT, I had to leave a comment here about your super lovely family photo!!! You all look awesome! Your hubby and son are handsome and your daughters are all beautiful... and Nina you are gorgeous!

Ok...now I'm going to gather up some Superbowl grub... (my poor hubby...will have to endure my bazillion football questions as we watch! lol)

Blessings & Aloha!
