Quilting 101

Look at what my sweet girls made!! They all used the sewing machine by themselves, with me sitting next to them. Brooklyn was a little spazy like normal...Faith got bored..Liberty had no fear of the machine at all and went full force..it's amazing how different sisters this close in age can be. Trinity just sat and watched and told me to make one for her, thank goodness!

They plan to finish with hand quilting and use these as doll blankets. Didn't they do a great job?

IM SO PROUD OF MY GRAND-DAUGHTERS! LIBERTY, YOU GO GIRL! WHEN YOU GET BETTER AT IT YOU CAN MAKE MIMI A QUILT, OH HOW SPECIAL THAT WOULD BE FOR ME.
WELL THE CABBAGE PATCH BABIES WILL BE THERE IN A FEW WEEKS SO YOU CAN USE YOUR NEWLY MADE QUILTS ON THEM. (they have airline tickets with me)

LOVE MIMI

Great job! I used to do a lot of quilting before we started playing bluegrass, and I think it's a lot of fun! Keep up the good work!

Wow! How beautiful all the quilts are! Was the material purchased in Portugal? If so, I bet that was quite a shopping trip. :-)
The girls are growing into talented young ladies. I love them so and it's delightful watching them grow, even by long distance. Now, tell us, did Justice want to quilt too? Some of the world's most talented and artistic quilters are men that quilt landscapes.
