Batter Up
Finally.....
It's your turn to speak....or at least ask the questions.
I guess this is what us bloggers do when we run out of topics to write about, I don't know.
Is there something you'd like to know more about? Been itching to ask a question?
Leave a comment with your thoughts.
Want to know more about.....
Me?
My family?
Portugal?
Our ministry here?
More pictures?
Less pictures?
Delete my blog?
Ingrown toenails?
Weight loss journey?
What I miss most?
Miss less?
Stop talking?
Is anyone still reading this?
Go ahead....hit me with your best shot.
"...hey batter, batter, batter, batter, swinnnnng batter."

I'd like to hear more about the Portugal culture, and the ways it differs from America. What do you love? What annoys you? What is superb? What colors are over there? What kinds of foods? What are the people like in general? Receptive to your message?
...Well, you asked. :)
haha, yes I do! I just started reading you blog, so it´s all new to me. Here goes.
I can see you have five kids. Is this enough for you, or will there be more in the future?
What denomination are you?
And yes, what do you miss most about home and what less?? :)
That should be at least one post!
You're asking for trouble, you know that right?
Here goes...
1. What is the best advice you've ever recieved?
2. What is the most unusual thing (in your opinion) about Portuguese people?
3. If your kids had the chance to write your post, what would they want to say about you? ...ask them
4. Are planning on having more children?
5. What does your husband miss most about America and like most about Portugal?
Ok, I've given you lots of blog fodder. I won't even be insulted if you skip my questions. :-)

I have not been following your blog very long so forgive if this is already done...
What are the stores like especially shopping for food? Next time you are out snap a few picture of ordinary activities places.
Thanks, Walker
Well the first question that came to mind was, where did you take the pic in your header?
On layover in Lisbon 21 years ago, suffering from some serious jet lag, I went to a palace of some kind outside the city. This pic looks like that place. It's like this weird dream deja vu.
On a serious note, how bout more about your ministry? And what school and life there is for the kids?
Also... do you have a miracle ingrown toenail cure? ;)
What was your first pet's name and what kind of pet was it?
How long did it take you to learn to spell your married name?
Are you going to have more children?
How long do you plan to be in Portugal?
I could ask more, but I'm feeling a little piggy here, so I'll stop.
I'll ask a question:)
How did you all wind up in Portugal? Just curious what the Lord used to draw you to that country:).
My blog friend Carol-Ann shared with us her love story. The tale of her courtship and romance with her would be husband.

We loved reading it.
Would like to read yours too.
You can serialize it.
I love reading your blog...all the ideas of where you shop for groceries, where you shop for clothes---or do you? What you do on your furlough...or do you have a furlough? If you do, how long do you stay?
All the pictures are great! I'm very impressed (and jealous) with your weight loss success. And I'd like to hear how you all ended up in Portugal!
Well since its been 1 year,,
I would love to see the best & worst photos from the past year..

Nina,
I just love reading about your every day experiences, you have such a fun way of looking at life and I find that so refreshing. You have such a beautiful family. Anything you write about is so interesting and fun to read.
Blessings,
Sue
seeing as you have ALOT of questions to answer, so you'll be busy for the rest of the year, I only have one:
Which one of you has an ingrown toenail? lol!
Don't you EVER delete your blog or change anything you post abou Your is my favorite!t
Oh boy!!! The questions I could ask! No really, I just am curious as I notice your husband seems to write articles for a home town paper, how did that come about?
I'm still here reading and enjoying your blog. I love all the different header phots you use. So neat!!
Ok. Here are some questions?
1. Why Portugal?
2. Had you always dreamed of being a missionary, or was this just something God recently put on your all's hearts?
3. I'd love to see more pictures of Portugal and hear about their culture.
4. What do you mean in your sidebar when you say your feet are to big for shoes in Portugal? Are they smaller people that we are?
Wow girl, I can imagine you didn´t think so many would ask you so many questions! Don´t stop what ever it is you are doing! ;)
I love the pictures.
I love hearing about the culture and how your family is adjusting. It´s reminicent of our experiances. :)
un Abrazo
Are you crazy!? You know I have to ask you something like.....
Do you miss Your Momma? :)
I'd like to know more about your ministry- your strategy, do you work with other teammates, etc.
Somehow, my husband has found your husband and has e-mailed him, and possibly talked on the phone as well. I just recently found your blog, and really have enjoyed it. We are on our way to the Azore Islands of Portugal in just a few short weeks! (Hopefully April or May depending on our visas) We have 5 children...the 6th one due in September. How is Portugese coming along? Is the tutor working well for you? I've often wondered how I will learn the language with 6 children ages 10 and under. Come visit my blog if you'd like, It's called "A life worth living"...it's mostly about the kiddos. Although, we did serve in Jamaica for 4 months recently, so there are some topics on Jamaica as well. Hope to get to know you some!
Amy Arthur
Dear Nina,
I love your blog.I would love to know how you chose the names of your children.
I LOVE your blog whatever you do dont get overwhelmed with all these questions and stop haha if I could sit and talk with you guys I imagine I'd talk to the kids, kids always say the most interesting things so I'd imagine they have alot to say about portugal? :) also how are they doing in school and with the language? tell the kiddos that Lenea says hi she loves and misses them!
