More Info That You Really Don't Want

Jennifer over God's Been Good awarded me this special award.

I'm not sure how Kreativ I am, but I'll accept it gratefully!!

Now..to tell you 7 things you may or may not know about me....

If you're a regular follower, you already know more about me that my kids do...so I'm not sure what else there is to say, but I'll try....

  1. I NEVER follow the rules when it comes to meme/awards.
  2. I finally found a home for my last kitten yesterday! Woo Hoo!! Not an easy thing to do in a country where they are regularly drowned.
  3. I really dislike unsolicited advice. Or phrases that start with..."You know, you could...." Especially when I receive them in my kitchen. I'll emphasize....MY kitchen.
  4. I have a weird fascination with potted plants/flowers that I never had while in the States.
  5. We had a young couple eat with us last night. Girl is Brazilian, Boy is Portuguese, and I actually fed them pulled Pork BBQ. ---What was I thinking? Oh..and I tried a new dessert that everyone hated.
  6. My little brother was born 12 days after my 12th birthday...and...he was born at 10:08 and he weighed 10 lbs 8 oz. (my poor Mom!) Weird how I remember things like this.
  7. I still remember my telephone number from when I was a kid.

So there you have it!

Wonderfully boring facts about me.

Have a great weekend ya'll!

I remember my phone # from when I was a child too! So funny...I was little then, but I still can't seem to remember my locker combination from high school ;o} It's funny the things you can't seem to forget...

I think your fascination with the potted plants/flowers comes from me and Grandma and Great Grandma. Just kind of trickles down the generations. And the older we get the more we like them.
And tomorrow is your little brothers 23rd birthday.
Love you

It is funny because I can also remember our first phone number when I was little but can´t remember the one we had while we were in Gijon 1 year ago.....

Nina!!! You did an award tag thingy! I was going to nominate you but thought ´"oh she won´t do it so well..."... :(

Now, I will try not to be offened. JK.. well, just a little. jeje

These are funny things to remember. Especially about your brother.

I will try to remember not to give unsolicited advice. I am terrible at giving advice anyway. Always say things wrong. I probably have already. LOL YOu still love me right?

Well, praying about next week. Maybe we will get to see each other after all!

Cuz I really love your humor and I'm kinda crazy like that!

but...for now I picked a random post by scrolling down and just stopping! here I am...

How fun these type of posts are...you get to know some fun stuff!
(oh...there is me...then my brother who is 11 yrs younger than me...then my sister who is 20 yrs younger than me! (she is 9 months younger than our oldest daughter :o) ...it took my dad quite some time to get used to the fact that my mom was expecting! haha

& last of all...I love that your mom visited my blog :o) Please tell her I appreciate her coming by, but once again couldnt reply...cuz it was that pesky "noreply" guy that came up when you try to send a reply to a comment.

Blessings Aloha!

Oh & my hubby thought that was pretty awesome about an actual rooster from Barcelos :o) He said he'll have to tell his brother, that only someone who has a Barcelos rooster can be a true Portuguese :o)
